Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid chooses Unity Audio Super Rock monitors

Johnny McDaid from Snow Patrol has recently installed a pair of the new Unity Audio Super Rock near-field monitors for his private studio.

The new larger format active 2 way model features the usual Unity Audio sealed cabinet design for fast transient response and accurate low frequency reproduction. The Super Rock has an 8” woofer compared to the 6.5” woofer from the Rock MKII and a larger folded ribbon tweeter from Mundorf. The same bespoke Class A/B Tim de Paravicini designed amplifiers that feature in all of Unity Audio range feature in the new Super Rock.

Johnny also has a successful career as a film and television composer as well as extensive writing and producing collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Rudimental, Biffy Clyro and Harry Styles.
