Unity Audio Artists Enjoy 2016 NME Award Success

The 2016 NME Awards were a hugely successful night for Unity artists with Charli XCX, Slaves, Coldplay and Wolf Alice all taking home prestigious awards on the night. Unity are super proud to have played a part in the making of all these projects, proving once again if you want to use the same speakers as the hit-makers you need to use Unity.

The awards are as follows:

Godlike Genius Award - went to Coldplay who own five pairs of Rock MKII monitors.

Best British Solo Artist - went to Charli XCX who’s album “Sucker” was mastered by Metropolis Mastering’s Stuart Hawkes who uses Rock MKII monitors. Legendary engineer Phil Tan who owns Boulder MKII monitors also mixed a track on the album.

Best Track and Live Band awards - went to Wolf Alice who’s album was produced and mixed by Mike Crossey and engineered by Jonathan Gilmore who own Pebbles and Bam Bams, Rock MKII’s Boulder MKI and MKII’s and Avalanche sub woofer.

Best Album award - went to Foals for “What Went Down” which was mixed by Alan Moulder who owns Rock MKII monitors.

In addition Slaves won the award for xxx who’s recent album “Are You Satisfied?” was produced and engineered by Jolyon Thomas who owns Rock MKII monitors.
